From One Machine to a Global Manufacturer

Fleafel began in 1987 with one sewing machine and one workshop in Tulkarm. Eng. Zeid Othman founded it on a straightforward proposition: that bedding of the standard the world's hotels buy could be made in Palestine. Growing demand turned the workshop into a full-scale factory by 1995, and in 2000 the business was incorporated as Fleafel Company for Trading and Textile Industries and organised into five departments. Today it runs 3,600 square metres and 70 people, and exports to the United Kingdom, the United States, Europe, the Middle East and Japan.
